This is the route all first-time guests of this special mansion are ushered along from their convoys taken by the valets back outside under the porte-cochère. These VIPs have the mansion's front double doors opened for them by the Governor's Secret Service ladies, and are then greeted by the hostess-on-duty at the time of their arrival, asked if they wish to leave their over-garments in this room's coat closet, and then invited to begin the room-by-room tour of this gigantic mansion (which is more comparable to the fusion of a castle and a skyscraper).
Dimensions & Layout:
Though technically one of this mansion's standard 1st and 2nd story rooms (measuring 100'x150' across its floor, and standing 100' tall), this room is divided into a few sections which take up large fractions of that space; two massive, curving, mirrored staircases swoop down from the balcony overlooking this foyer from the start of the 2nd story (which is from 100' to 200' up), then there are the coat closet and bathroom beneath those two staircases; two rooms which each have about 100 square feet of floor-space, and lastly there is the room beneath that 2nd-story balcony; an equally tall room (100' tall) with a floor measuring 100'x50', and which has its center dominated by a radial tree reaching nearly to its ceiling. There is also a massive, circular fountain in the middle of the floor of this foyer right between the two staircases leading up to the inside balcony overlooking it, and its ceiling reaches up to the ceiling level of the 2nd story; this foyer is 200' tall.

The chandelier hanging above the fountain of this room is dozens of feet tall and wide, made entirely of rare gemstones, such as diamonds and rubies, and both hovers and rotates thanks to hidden, miniature, silent Repulsines. Many of the diamonds and other gemstones which make up its form are the size of baseballs and even basketballs, and, like Christmas lights on timers and fades, they beautifully light up from within --and in changing patterns.
